Israel The Russian Monastery

The Russian monastery which was build in the 19th century in Jerusalem, with the view of houses on the mountain slopes.

The spot is a bit obstructed and not perfect, bring a short tele or a zoom - a wide angle lens will make the monastery appear to small and include too many distractions (roads, fences)
Come early morning as this road faces east and you can catch the sunrise. during winter, there might be fog in the valley which may be nice (In this photo it was a clear day)

Just park near the university and walk for 5 minutes. be careful not to be hit by a car as the road is very curvy and not very broad. there are a few places to stand after the fence and take pictures. Do this at your own risk!
