Israel Mirrored Twilight

A stunning coastal location featuring intricate rocky reefs and natural tide pools. During low tide, the pools become mirror-like, perfectly reflecting the sky and creating exceptional foreground interest. It is an ideal spot for long-exposure seascape photography, especially around sunset when warm hues illuminate the passing clouds. A wide-angle lens, sturdy tripod, and neutral density (ND) filters are highly recommended to capture smooth water movement and rich reflections.

Timing & Tide: Check the tide chart before heading out; low tide is essential to reveal the tide pools and get still reflections.

Gear: Bring a sturdy tripod and a wide-angle lens (16–24mm equivalent). Use an ND filter (such as a 6-stop or 10-stop) to achieve smooth, long exposures of the water and clouds.

Composition: Get low to the water to emphasize the foreground rock formations and capture the sky's reflection in the pools.

Safety & Care: The wet rocks can be extremely slippery and sharp—wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and watch out for unexpected waves.

Easily accessible by car, with public parking available within a short walking distance from the shore. From the parking area, follow the path toward the beach and head carefully across the rocky reef toward the water's edge. Wearing water shoes or sturdy sneakers is highly recommended, as the rocks can be uneven and slippery.
