Stelvio Pass road on the Italy Switzerland border. The Stelvio Pass is one of the highest and most famous mountain passes in the Alps, located in northern Italy at 2,757 meters. It connects the Vinschgau Valley with the Lombardy region and is known for its dramatic, winding road with 48 hairpin bends on the northern side. Popular with cyclists, motorcyclists, and drivers, it offers breathtaking views and is often featured in tours of the Alps.
