Italy The Gladiator home in Tuscany

Maximus (Russell Crowe) is shown returning from years at war to his homeland on horseback. His journey brings him along a cypress tree lined avenue, so typical of Tuscany. It is only then, however, that Maximus realises that his little slice of paradise has been corrupted by the outside world and that he has arrived too late to save his family.

One can only photograph through the iron gate, however, the bars are wide enough to allow one foot of the tripod in and the rest out and a zoom lens in.

Not so many people know this place, remarkably enough, they are focused on the other side of the road which is Podere Belvedere and wonder what we are busy doing there.
The front gate is slanted a bit so one can easily pass by without noticing it, but my coordinates are spot on.
You can easily park your car right next to the gate.
Bring a zoom lens and some nd filters

I just passed it - just remember that the front gate is flanked by two tall cypresses, you cannot miss it.
