As probably any town and city in Italy there is also a tower in the centre of Verona from which you have a great 360° outlook. In Verona it is the Torre dei Lamberti, which is one of the highest buildings of the city with a height of 84 meters.

Photography Tips

The tower is opened from 10am to 6pm on Monday till Friday and until 7pm on weekends. The last entrance is 45 minutes before they are closing. That said it's probably the best time to visit this tower during the winter on weekends if you want to shoot the sunset.

Travel Information

You can use the stairs or a lift (without additional fees) to the top of the tower. The price is usually about 8€, including the entrance fee to the "Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti" nearby. If you don't want to see both you should visit the tower on Monday, because the gallery is closed at these days and the price to enter the tower is reduced to 5€.

I've added some more details that I found on the internet. Are those correct Frank?

OK, thanks for adding the details. I visited Verona and climbed the tower in 2014 and, to be honest, I don ´t remember about a lift anymore. But you are correct, there must obviously be a lift. I found it also confirmed on internet. Probably I have used the stairs instead. I added now a photo of the stairway (still wondering where this lift may be?).
