Italy Imperia old town view at the beach
Imperia is a beautiful city in the north of Italy with a nice old town district, which can be photographed from the ocean by walking down the wall of the port. This spot is at the beginning of the pier with the beach in the foreground.
Photography Tips
This spot is recommended if you want to shoot with a wide-angle lens. Walking further down the pier would make the city smaller and smaller so you might need a teller already.
The best time to be here is probably sunset during spring or autumn when the beach is still empty and people are at lunch during this daytime.

Travel Information
There is a one-way street just nearby with parking options along the road. Just pay attention to the markers though, because the beginning of the street is marked in blue, which means that you will have to pay around 1.20€ per hour. A little bit further down, the parking is free, but as you can guess there are therefore more cars that want to get to one of these places.
In general, there are quite a lot of options around though, especially if you are willing to walk a little bit.
One additional piece of advice: There is a really nice small ice cream shop with a playground in front on the way from the parking, which makes one of the best ice creams in the city.
