Photography Tips
This locaton give you several photographic opportunities. I recomend arriving 1 hour to 30 mins before sunset or recon during the day, to decide what to photograph. Also, this location can get quite busy so plan ahead. I shot this with a 24-70mm and a tripod is a must for long exposures. Shoot at f/5.6–f/8 for sharp architectural detail, and keep ISO low (64–200) to preserve dynamic range. Manually focus on the Duomo for perfect sharpness.
Travel Information
Parking available, taking public bus is probably the easiest, or can walk up to the top of Piazzale Michelangelo.
