The Rifugio Auronzo is one of the biggest modern mountain huts in the area of Tre Cime. It's located at the end of the mountain pass and a good starting point to check out the area around the infamous Tre Cime.

Take some good foreground into the photo so you show that this hut stands on tall steep mountain boulders.

Travel Information

The way up to get to the Auronzo is quite expensive. They charge money for the way in dependency of the vehicle. If you stay the night, you pay extra for the pass road because the permit is only valid for the day itself. Make sure to get up there as early as possible because of an overflow, the area gets closed down pretty early.
