In my opinion the best choice: you have few obstacles and you are high enough to get a nice perspective; the new year's eve there is the official fireworks show, shot by Castel dell'Ovo castle: from here you take the castle lateral side, the fireworks and the Vesuvio volcano as background

Photography Tips

My photo was taken with a 50 mm on a full frame reflex. With a wideangle you take all the town. For the official firework show of the 1 January you must take informations about the time because it happens between the 1:30 and the 2:00 AM but it's worth the wait for sure.
