Porto Flavia was the place that was used to charge the cargo ship full of coal and other minerals that were extracted in Carbonia Region and brought to the mainland.

Photography Tips

If you want to take the picture from the exterior of the mine you will need a drone or to rent a kayak, I brought my mavic air to take the picture with this angle. You can't fly from the mine, you will have to fly from the nearest outside point, before getting inside the mine.

You can only reach this spot by car, but there's free parking there so it's not a bad thing.
