This is the Monument of Guiseppe Garibaldi who fought for the Italian unification which was reached in 1861. Garibaldi is still one of the most popular heros in Italian history.

Photography Tips

No special tips to be given. I recomend to come there later in the afternoon and to stay till the blue hour. The monument is in the center of the place and on it's eastern side you have a geat view over the city.

Travel Information

You can come by car as parking is possible there. There are also busses running up the hill. I recommend to walk as you hav different views to the city after each curve of the street.
