Piscinas sand dunes reaching the 100m high are the biggest sand dunes in italy, they are the main attraction of the so called Costa Verde, one of the less inhabitated area of Sardinia, where the mediterranean atmosphere reaches his climax.

whatch out the sand in your gear, avoid going barefoot during hot hours in summer.

Travel Information

My favourite road goes from Marceddi, a small town with a feeling of remote settlement for european standards and descend along the coast till the street get's unpaved, it even comes to wade a red river at some point, great drive.
