Sorano and his fellas Pitigliano and Sovana are three beautifull ancient villages to visit in this area, the beautiful Maremma, an area comprehended betwen Toscana and Lazio, the land of cowboys, or Butteri in italian.

This area is kinda turistic, autumn is a nice season to get great light and less people.

Travel Information

Sorano and other nearby villages as Pitigliano, Sovana and Montemerano are the perfect detour on the amazing drive from Siena to Viterbo, the one passing trhrough the famous Val d'Orcia.
