On a little alley, just off the main road at the Piazza del Popolo in Montalcino, you find this vast view of the valley the town overlooks. In the evening hours, is shaded and cool, we typically with a nice breeze. On the Left is the Ospedale di Comunita.

Photography Tips

Enjoy this town. Take a tripod. If not for anything else, it makes for a good walking stick as you huff it up the hills. You can also use it to take photos.

Travel Information

I don't think any tours pass through here, so the only way to get here is by car. Parking is outside of the town, so expect to park and walk. Oddly, no matter where you park, you'll need to walk up hill, and sometimes it's steep.
