Italy Baths of Carcalla
The Baths of Caracalla in Rome, Italy, were the city's second largest Roman public bath complex, or thermae, after the Baths of Diocletian. The baths were likely built between AD 212 and 216/217, during the reigns of emperors Septimius Severus and Caracalla.
Photography Tips
Be sure to bring a wide-angle lens—the complex is enormous, and if you go inside the ruins, you won't be able to capture them in their entirety without one. My suggestion is to include people in the composition to give a sense of the complex’s size; there are also many details that can be captured with a 24-70 or a 70-200 lens.
