Castel San Michele, also known as Castello di Ossana, rises dramatically above the village of Ossana in Val di Sole, Trentino. Illuminated after sunset, the medieval fortress transforms into a striking beacon, with its stone tower glowing against the surrounding darkness of the forested mountains. From the air, the castle’s structure, its surrounding walls, and the contrast with the quiet village lights below create a captivating nocturnal composition.

For night drone shots, use a drone capable of low-light performance. Position the drone to include both the castle and the softly glowing village. Keep ISO as low as possible to reduce noise and use a slower shutter speed — enable tripod mode for stability.
