Italy Canal in Comacchio
South of the Po delta, several kilometers inland, lies Comácchio. At its founding, it was still at sea. Like Venice, it is built on islands. Picturesque canals crisscross the old center of the city.
Photography Tips
Photograph the canal bridge in Comacchio during the magical “golden hour” when the soft light warms the pastel-colored facades and the still water reflects the bridge and buildings. Spring to early fall offer mild light, fewer tourists, and clear reflections
