Siena is a very "close" city so it is difficult to get distance to capture some of the terrific architecture. The Fortezza provides some room and is a very popular spot at sunset. At sunrise there were very few people about.

Travel Information

There is street parking but I suspect it is rarely available. Driving in Siena is challenging. I parked outside the old city and took escalators from the San Francesco Parking lot.
