The Reggia di Venaria Reale is a large royal palace near Turin in northern Italy and one of the most important examples of Baroque architecture in Europe. Built in the 17th century as a residence for the House of Savoy, it is famous for its grand halls, elegant decorations, and vast formal gardens. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a major cultural attraction, known for its impressive scale and refined design.

Travel Information

The Reggia di Venaria Reale can be easily reached from Turin by train or bus in about 30 minutes. Trains run from Turin Porta Susa to Venaria Reale station, followed by a short walk, or you can take direct buses from the city center. By car, it is a short drive north of Turin with parking available near the palace.
