Scaliger Castle in Malcesine is a medieval fortress on Lake Garda and dominates the townscape of Malcesine.

Its origins date back to the early Middle Ages, and it was expanded in the 13th century by the della Scala family.

Throughout history, the castle changed hands several times, including between the Venetians, the French, and the Austrians.

Today, it serves as a museum and is one of the most famous landmarks in the region, offering breathtaking views of the lake.
