Italy Fishing Huts at Venice lagoon.
The small town of Pellestrina, near Venice, Italy, plays host to a number of photogenic fishing huts. Situated in the sea, a few hundred yards from land, these make curious and interesting subjects for a photography project.
Pellestrina is not the kind of place that you pass on the way to somewhere else. It’s a thin island about 7 miles long. On a map, the island resembles a delicate hair joining Venice in the north and Chioggia in the south.

Photography Tips
The spot is offered for long exposure photographs with a main theme of fishing huts offshore.
The spot is offered for long exposure photography with a main theme of fishing huts in the open. Some are quite deep so it would be good to have a large telephoto lens (24-200 or larger). And of course an nd filter.

Travel Information
The trip was a bit long, I took a water bus from Venice to the Lido. Then a bus (Pellestrina N.11) that will take you to the end of the island and there the bus will board another ferry (while I was still on the bus) and then I got off at Pelestrina. I got off the bus and walked to the side of the island that is in the lagoon.
