Photography Tips

Bring a telephoto lens to get some compression with the mountain in the background, as well as the aeolians. Aim for golden hour to get a soft light on the village !

Travel Information

Leave Palermo and head toward the A19 highway (toward Catania). Then head toward Cefalù (via SS113 or local roads). Continue inland to Castel di Lucio. Before arriving at the village, follow the signs for "Ariane’s Labyrinth". The last 10–15 kilometers are narrow winding and uphill road, but it's doable even with a small car.
Once you're parked, you can play around with the views over the village.
