San Giovanni Battista is a Roman Catholic church in the historic centre of Erice, Sicily. It is one of three confraternity churches in the town, together with Sant'Orsola and San Martino.

Aim for golden hour to get a nice light on the castle and trees. Bring a telephoto lens (like 70-200mm) to capture the church.

Travel Information

It's a bit tricky to park in the city, so aim to get there very early in high season. If you're here during low season, you might find easily a place to park near the castle. Best is to stay in the village and book something with a private parking !
