Italy Punta Bianca top down
Punta Bianca is a very unique stretch of coastline that is relatively unknown compared to the more famous Scala dei Turchi. The beauty of this place lies in the white color of the rock (marl) and its undulating shape, which resembles soft snow lying on the beach. Here, you are completely immersed in nature, surrounded by cliffs and crystal-clear sea. The landscape is made even more unique and distinctive by an old Guardia di Finanza barracks built of stone and now abandoned.
Photography Tips
Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities. Aim for golden hour to get a soft light on the rocks.
Travel Information
Use the Punta Bianca Suite & Home Experience hotel as a landmark (you can find it on Google Maps), then continue straight ahead. At some point, you’ll come to a fork in the road with one path leading left and another leading right; take the one that goes right.
Further on, you’ll come to a second fork; take the road on the right toward the sea and continue straight ahead.
After that, you’ll come to a third fork, with a road on the right leading to a house and a road on the left; take the latter.
If you’re almost there, keep going straight until you see two houses. Here, you can park your car in the clearing near the two houses and continue on foot.
