By car from Palermo, take the A19 motorway toward Catania and follow the signs for the city center. The drive takes around 2,5 to 3 hours. Parking might not be the easiest thing in Catania city center, but with a bit of luck you may find a street where to park. Some hotels have underground private parkings if you're staying overnight.
