Photography Tips
Either come extremely early if you want to photograph it with no people around, or be very patient. Or you can play around with longer exposure to create a blur effect from people passing by.
Travel Information
The drive from Palermo to Taormina takes around three hours and covers about 260 kilometres. Leave Palermo on the A19 motorway towards Catania, then join the A18 heading north to Taormina. The route is straightforward and offers views of the Sicilian countryside and coastline along the way. As traffic is limited in Taormina’s historic centre, it is best to park in one of the town’s public car parks and continue on foot.
