The Duomo di San Giorgio is the most famous church in Ragusa, celebrated for its magnificent Sicilian Baroque architecture. Built in the 18th century, it features an impressive dome, ornate façade, and a prominent position overlooking the historic district of Ragusa Ibla.

Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities. Aim for golden hour. I took this photo using the telephoto lens of the drone !

Travel Information

From Palermo, drive about 3.5 to 4 hours southeast to Ragusa via the A19 motorway toward Catania, then continue on the E45/SS514 and SS115. Parking in Ragusa is tricky, you might want to check the parking spot I Pinned but otherwise, I would recommend to park at "Area di parcheggio Giardino Ibleo" and walk !
