Travel Information
To reach Castello di Taormina from the center of Taormina, visitors can either walk or drive. On foot, the route follows a steep uphill path through narrow streets and trails leading to the castle ruins; the walk typically takes about 30–45 minutes and offers panoramic views of the town, coastline, and Mount Etna. By car, travelers can drive toward the upper part of Taormina and park in designated areas near the castle access road, then complete the final section on foot. Driving reduces the climbing distance, but some walking is still required due to limited vehicle access near the historic site.
