Italy Cava di Bauxite
Cava di Bauxite is an old bauxite mine near Otranto, in Puglia. Today, the mine is no longer working and is filled with water. The red ground, green plants and blue lake make the place look very special so many people come to see it. It's a small tourist attraction so there might be other people when you get there !
Photography Tips
Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities. The best light is usually in late afternoon.
Make sure you bring a polarizer to avoid unwanted sun glares in the water (and also to make the colors pop a bit more).
