Italy Casamassima
Casamassima is a small town 20km from Bari. It's called the “Paese Azzurro” because many old houses in the historic centre have blue walls. It's a nice place to get lost in the streets.
Photography Tips
The best photos are in the old town, especially around Porta Orologio, Via Paliodoro and the small streets called "chiassi". Look for blue walls with doors, windows or flowers. Bring a wide to medium focal lens to do street photos.
Travel Information
From Bari, take the SS100 towards Taranto and exit for Casamassima. It is around 20km and usually takes 25/30 minutes by car. It is better to park around Piazza Aldo Moro or outside the old town like at the GPS pin, because the historic centre has traffic restrictions (ZTL). You can walk to the pause azure, it's not that far.
