Japan Hōkanji Temple, Kyoto
Famous as Yakaka Pagoda, this is one of Kyoto's most historically significant sites and the oldest five-story pagoda in Kyoto. The area around the Pagoda reminds one of the old traditional Japanese living style.
Photography Tips
Normally, this spot is super crowded. It is now possible to move or create pictures without any people.
The only chance for pictures with fewer people is the early morning. Blue hour and the first minutes from sunrise are fine. Please respect the rules here, as normally, no tripods are allowed. It is a normal street where cars can come up or down!
