Japan Mt. Kishima Circuit, Aso-Kuju National Park

Photography Tips
Hike Mt. Kishima for sunset. The volcanic sediments are changing in a great red tone and you will be completely alone here. Come a bit earlier than sunset and check out the different possibilities for your shots. Try to prior some of them.
Travel Information
Park next to the Aso Volcano Museum and walk a bit along the road until you get a good perspectives with the forest in the foreground and the crater right behind it.
Always inform yourself at the visitor center which hikes are possible at the day and which ones are closed due to the volcano activity. There can be changes every day. So be aware here in this region!
For this hike you need around 45-60 minutes up to the peak. At the beginning there are a lot of steps. At the end it is just gravel, which is feasible.
