Japan Ninenzaka, Kyoto
Ninenzaka is an ancient 150m stone-paved pedestrian road and tourist attraction in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto. Here you have the feeling that the time stands still and you are in an old traditional historical street of Japan.
Photography Tips
Come in the early morning hours. It is less crowded and you have still several minutes for yourself. From 8am on, you will meet a lot of tourists and can walk normally anymore.
Travel Information
The easiest way to move around in Kyoto is to rent a bicycle here. For around 20 Euro per day you are so flexible and can be spontaneous everywhere. For us it was the perfect match and is the most common thing for locals.
