The Chureito Pagoda is one of these famous photo spots in Japan. Most of the people just walk on the platform behind the Pagoda to get the view on Mount Fuji but it is still nice to check out the complete area, especially the cherry trees in the spring season around the pagoda.

Photography Tips

Don´t have just the one picture with the Pagoda and Mount Fuji in mind. With all these cherry blossom trees you can create so much more. So be flexible and find new interesting perspectives like this one directly from the opposite of the pagoda.

Travel Information

During the cherry blossom season it is crazy packed with tourists. Please respect all the Japanese rules. No tripods are allowed. Drone flying is prohibited. Don´t touch the flowers.

Parking is super critical here. A lot of private people are selling a space. Take them. All prices are high around this pagoda.
