Japan Fushimi Inari Shrine around Mount Inari, Kyoto
The Fushimi Inari Shrine is famous for its 1000 red torii. A special place, so mystical with a specific atmosphere. If you are not just hanging around at the beginning, you wild find way much more beautiful temple structures, less crowded, older and in my eyes more interesting.
Photography Tips
Come very early before sunrise and don´t stop so long at the beginning of the temple. If you are going straight up the hill, you will have the temple the first hour completely for yourself.
Travel Information
The easiest way to move around in Kyoto is to rent a bicycle. Just go to one of the shops in downtown and book it for your stay. The price is around 20 euros per day.
