Japan Hitachi - Kochia Blossom
Go to hitachi for some cool blossoms - they have giant fields - every colorful field blossoms at another time of the year. the kochia (like in this photo) blossoms around november and lasts about a week or two.

Travel Information
can be easily be accessed as a day trip from Tokyo. just notice that theres only one bus a day (back and forth) from tokyo station (when i was there it was at 10:30am and 4:30pm to go back) - dont miss it! and be there early because its a popular destination in blooms.
expect tons of people.
it's not ideal so if you have a car its better. but you cant really take sunset/sunrise photos because the park closes...
