Jersey Gorey castle

The somewhat sleepy fishing village on the eastern edge of the island of Jersey is one of the most important harbor locations and invites you to take a short walk up to Orgueil Castle. From the top, a great view is across the sea along the island's coastline. Kestrels can also be observed from here.

Photography Tips

Take advantage of the first light before sunrise and try minimalist silhouette photos. If necessary, use a tripod to avoid setting the ISO too high.

Travel Information

You will find a parking lot in Gorey itself. From there, it is only a few meters to the entrance area of the castle. Pay attention to the seasonal opening times and check the internet.
