Kenya Noomotio Observation Point, Amboseli National Park
Noomotio Observation Point in Amboseli National Park is a popular viewpoint that offers sweeping panoramic views of the park’s vast plains, wetlands, and surrounding hills. It is the only area where you can leave the car, walk up the hill and have a picnic.

Photography Tips
Bring your backpack up the hill. For landscape pictures I would use a lens like the 24-70mm. For wildlife you should always have a tele-zoom lens in your backpack.
Travel Information
The observation point is well known by all the drivers. Here you can find restrooms and a place for breakfast or lunch.
To enter the park you need to pass the gate. There are two - one in the south and one in the north of the park. The South Gate is closer to wildlife. Make sure your lodge is close by. Self drives are allowed but you should have at least a good 4x4 car. I would prefer a guided tour here.
