Kenya Elephants in front of Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park
Between Park Marker #31 and #30 is the second biggest chance in the park to see large herds of elephants. Enough gras and a second swamp area animate the elephants to come here nearly every day. It's the perfect spot for shooting wildlife in front of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya, is well known for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain; the park’s open plains, swamps, and seasonal lakes support a wide variety of wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.

Photography Tips
You have to be prepared for the possibility that the mountain may not be visible during your entire visit. So put aside your preconceived ideal image and let what you see and photograph during your time there be the deciding factor.
Travel Information
To enter the park you need to pass the gate. There are two - one in the south and one in the north of the park. The South Gate is closer to wildlife. Make sure your lodge is close by. Self drives are allowed but you should have at least a good 4x4 car. I would prefer a guided tour here.
