Nosy Iranja connects onto Kaps Island via a sand bar that disappears as the tide rises and covers it. As the tide falls away, it is a good opportunity to take a walk across and take a few photos of the pristine white beach and deep blue ocean.

Photography Tips

It is hard to get the perspective and scale without a drone, so I thoroughly recommend it.

Travel Information

The islands are only accessible by boat, usually as a day trip excursion from the mainland. We took a trip from the popular island of Nosy Be where we had stayed for a few days.
