Malta Valetta from Sliema (Tigne Point)
This From here you can take some good pictures of the Valletta waterfront. The place is public, so it can be accessed at any time, but I think sunset and night are the best times. Basically the photo is taken from a promenade which, depending on luck and the season, can be more crowded or not. A month ago, so at the end of January I only saw two people passing by me, in the 20 minutes I spent taking pictures of Valletta. A tripod is recommended, but only if you intend to take long exposures.place is one of the best for a photo of Valletta.
It is quite easy to get to, being about 4-5 minutes walk from The Point (shopping mall).
I did not rent a car, so I cannot give reliable indications regarding parking in the area. There is probably one at the mall.

Photography Tips
A nifty-fifty will do the trick. Probably anything between 35mm and 120mm would be more than enough to capture some good images. As I said before, a tripod is recommended if you're going there in low light.
