It may not be to everyone's taste, but for a street photo I don't think it looks that bad.
And to be a little more direct, unlike other images thrown here on Location Scout, this is a real location, with a real and possibly unique subject, a subject that will be there for many years to come, regardless of the season.

It is not mandatory, but I think Saturday morning is ideal for a visit. The Marsaxlokk market takes place every Saturday and is one of the most important in Malta. So be prepared for a lot of visitors.
For photography you don't need anything special except a wider lens and some patience to catch a few seconds without people in front of the building.

The location pin I put on the map is accurate, so you shouldn't have a problem finding the place. It can be reached both by car and by bus. If you come by car, there are enough parking spaces in the area (fewer on Saturday mornings).
