Fantastic bends and curves of Cehotine river. The color of the river and the bends are very beautiful. Nature at its best!
Very lonely spot, we didn't see anybody around

Travel Information

I urgently recommend to take the road P10 from Pljevlja. Don't take the shortcut close to Zekavice connecting roads P4 and P10. This is a very narrow track, only suitable for offroad vehicles.
Coming from Pljevlja, there is a sign along the main road, indicating the way to the viewpoint. From there it is a 2 km dirt road to the spot. We parked our car and walked the remaining distance.

Wow, that's such a beautiful lookout. I wish I knew about it when I was in Montenegro a few years ago. Definitely would love to visit the north of the country because I only had time for the south the last time. Hope you had a great time over there dear Christiane!

Huge thanks for your lovely comment! This spot is not easy to reach and quite far off the beaten path which might be the reason why it is not that well known. My guide book didn't mention it either... I spent 4 fantastic weeks in Montenegro and should you go back, try to visit Prokletije National Park where it is incredibly beautiful and still very authentic.

Not easy to reach definitely sounds like Montenegro and something I really liked somehow. Thank you so much for your tips too, really appreciate it and 4 weeks sounds like a great time. Have you been there during summer or which time would you recommend?

We went in June and it was perfect, though there was still some snow on the roads in Durmitor NP. The landscape was still very green and there were flowers everywhere.
