The Black Lake (Crno jezero) is a pretty scenic spot close to Zabljak in the Dumitor National Park which is located in the northern part of Montenegro. Its a great place to walk around or start hiking into the mountains. If you visit the lake in Spring after the snow is melted there will also be some waterfalls, which will be gone in summer.

Photography Tips

Bring your tripod and light gear, expect to walk a lot up and down, especially if you wander a bit further away from the lake into the mountains.

Travel Information

You can walk there from Zabljak, which is the main hub for the Dumitor National Park. To Dumitor you can get by car as well as bus.
