Myanmar Shwedagon Pagoda
Shwedagon Pagoda is the central and most famous Buddhist temple in Yangon. Every day and evening it is visited by locals, with only very few tourists in between, which makes for an authentic and great traveling experience.
Photography Tips
The pagoda is well lit and sunset and the blue hour are especially spectacular.
Travel Information
Unfortunately, this marvellous place, one of the wonders of the world, is inaccessible for a long time. This is due to the military coup and the now arbitrary justice system. Travelling to Myanmar, or rather Burma, is dangerous for tourists and photographers.
