Namibia Dead Vlei

It´s an amazing almost mystical place in the middle of desert Namib. Try to go as early as possible and play with the shadows of the trees.

Dead Vlei lies in Namib Naukluft National Park, you can get there only during the daytime except if you stay in the only lodge that is within the fence. If possible go there as early as possible, it´s breathtaking to see the sun coming over the dunes. From the entrance of the park to the lodge it´s a one-hour drive and then you have to walk more than one kilometre through the desert. Make sure to bring enough to drink, it is really hot, you will need it. Dead Vlei is a unique place you will never forget.
