Namibia Ice Factory Kolmannskuppe

The Kolmannskuppe shopping street, as the name suggests, consisted of several shops where the settlers could do their shopping. There was even an ice factory that supplied each household with a large block of ice per day. Since the place was very prosperous, the inhabitants could afford the luxuries.
The sign of the Linde company can still be seen in the old ice factory.

Photography Tips

The time of day for photography in the houses is not important. However, the ghost town is closed in the afternoon.
