Namibia Main Falls Epupa
You're standing right at the main drop of the Epupa Falls—and, if you like, right next to it.
Warning! There are no barriers!!!! Watch your step very carefully. The falls are deep—not only could your camera fall to its death here, but you could too.

Photography Tips
From this vantage point, you're looking east, so the afternoon is the best time to visit. If you want to have light all the way down to the lowest point, you'll have to contend with very harsh, bright light, and you shouldn't arrive too late. The drop is steep—and is already in the shade by the afternoon.
Travel Information
From Opuwo, it takes several hours to reach the falls. The road is a gravel road that isn't always in very good condition.
The falls are at their most beautiful when the Kunene River is flowing strongly. This happens during the rainy season between November and February—though the rain makes the drive to the falls significantly more difficult.
