Netherlands Harbour Zuiderhaven, Groningen

The harbour is nice to walk around and photograph from different view points (from the enclosed bridges Museumbrug, Sluisbrug, Eelderbrug). It is surrounded by typical Dutch houses, as well as by modern tall buildings. In the evening the A-kerk church, Royal Groninger Rowing club and houses are lit with lights. Usually at least a couple of boats are stationed there.

Beautiful location to photograph during sunset/sunrise, blue hour, so tripod is needed. During the day is also nice and full of passing by cyclists, so it's an excellent location to practice panning with moving cyclists.

The location is in the city centre of Groningen. It's easy to reach by walking, cycling, or by car (the parking is 3 min from the spot, called Q-Park Westerhaven).
