Netherlands Hazerswoude-dorp
The Rietveldse Molen is a historic polder windmill located in Hazerswoude-Dorp. Built around 1648, it was constructed to drain the Rietveldse Polder and played an important role in local water management for centuries. The mill remained in use until 1966, when modern pumping systems replaced wind-powered drainage.
Architecturally, it is an eight-sided, thatched ground-sailer windmill equipped with a traditional water wheel. Although it no longer functions as a drainage mill, it has been carefully preserved and is designated as a rijksmonument.

Photography Tips
This is a morning-spot with the sun rising behind the mill. There are two small bridges and on the left side there are trees and reeds, which offer a lot of different composition-possibilities only with small adjustments.
Travel Information
There is free parking-space directly in front of the mill, but if you feel extra-cheeky or lazy and it is early in the morning, you can park at the bay of the bridges without hindering anybody.
